Easter Vigil

The story of Easter concludes this evening at the Easter Vigil and First Mass of Easter – the climax of the Holy Triduum. We begin by kindling a new fire reminding us of the new light that Christ’s resurrection sheds on the world and spreads through our lives. We process a candle into the church and remember God’s plan for us through readings and prayer. We then begin our celebration of the Mass, rejoicing in the risen Christ.

Our service this evening concludes with roasted lamb rolls and prosecco as we bring and end to our mourning and celebrate the risen Lord. 

Much like midnight mass at Christmas, this mass is our more solemn celebration. Families and your children are always welcome – especially tomorrow’s Easter Family Service with activities and and Easter egg hunt laid on for the little ones.
